Our work ranges from the study and attribution of historical coins, through expert consulting and publishing, to the creation of projects for collectors and those interested in history.
What matters to us is authenticity, scholarly treatment and the ability to place a coin within the wider story of the period in which it was struck.
We do not see numismatics merely as a trade in collectors' items. To us it is a historical discipline that combines work with original material, the study of sources and literature, and long experience.

Archaeology
Pamiatky a múzeá — winner, Smaller Publication category
A book on the course and findings of the archaeological research into sites in the village of Tvrdošovce, Slovakia. The history of the locality, the excavations carried out, and an extensive photographic catalogue of finds. 2019.
We also work on further scholarly publications on historical themes.

We also apply our numismatic experience to developing digital services for collectors.
We are involved in numy.cz – an auction portal built with an emphasis on trustworthiness, a transparent environment and a high standard of presentation for numismatic material.
The aim is to connect verified sellers, collectors and the expert community within a modern auction system that respects the specifics of the numismatic market.

A collaborative project
Numismatický institut was founded to make numismatics approachable and trustworthy for those who are only just starting out. We were there at its founding and helped shape the idea it is built on.
That idea is the numismatic card — a genuine circulation coin set into a card whose artwork tells the story of the era the coin comes from. Every coin is an original, verified and placed in its historical context.
We continue to collaborate on the project.

He has long worked in numismatics, historical coins, publishing and the creation of projects connected with collecting and history.
As a co-author of specialist publications, he combines hands-on experience with numismatic material, historical research and the ability to convey an expert subject clearly.
His work today spans classical numismatics as well as the development of new projects and digital tools for the collecting community.
